The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) is the specialised UN agency that supports the industrial development of developing countries and economies in transition. Its particular strengths lie in the areas of industrial upgrading and infrastructural development for standardization, metrology, testing and quality (SMTQ) as well as in private sector development and the promotion of enterprise networks and business linkages.

The Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) is Kenya’s premier trade Association representing growers, exporters and service providers in the horticulture industry.
The Aquacultural Association of Kenya (AAK) is the National umbrella body of all fish farmers in Kenya. It is a membership association that aims at articulating issues affecting its members and the aquaculture industry at large.
The Kenya Dairy Processors Association (KDPA) is the umbrella body that unites the milk processing companies across the country. Membership is open to all parties involved in the processing and marketing of dairy products in Kenya.
The Kenya livestock Marketing Council (KLMC) is an umbrella organization of livestock producers and traders in arid and semi-arid areas of Kenya.Its major aim is to promote livestock marketing and to improve pastoralists’ livelihood and reduce their vulnerability to the vagaries of weather and man-made disasters such as conflicts.
The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) is the representative organization for manufacturing value-add industries in Kenya. KAM provides an essential link for co-operation, dialogue and understanding with the Government by representing the views and concerns of its members to the relevant authorities.
In pursuit of its core mandate of policy advocacy, KAM promotes trade and investment, upholds standards, encourages the formulation, enactment and administration of sound policies that facilitate a competitive business environment and reduce the cost of doing business.
