Training on Sanitary Requirements and Residues Monitoring Plan for Aquaculture Sector

Training will cover the following areas:

  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Safety Principles (FSP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygienic Practices, Cleaner Production Systems (CPS), Environmental Safety Practices (ESP) and Codex Alimentarius among other regional draft certifications and standards and international Food Safety Conventions.
  • Pond Management, fish handling, transportation, processing, packaging and hygienic practices.
  • Implementation of standards and SOPs, EU,EAC and COMESA import requirements for quality and food safety including conformity assessments, records and records maintenance
